The Amulet

Your fencing instructor reveals the secret of a secret organization dedicated to civil justice. Members of the organization are identified by the gold medallions they wear around their necks. Then you realize that the medallion you received as a child is actually the organization's. The instructor invites you to join the organisation and you start training for the initiation test. You pass it with flying colours and join the organisation by changing your name to a pseudonym.

I suspect you are that clever masked criminal who frequently punishes their corrupt colleagues and is so meticulous about making himself invisible...
Except that you're not just any vigilante, you abide by the organization's Code and provide justice to the citizens by "cleansing" the world of dangerous lynch mobs who would otherwise go unpunished and operate unchecked.

But now, the police leaders have drawn your hideout and set out for it. Your time is limited and you have to retrieve the most valuable item in the hideout: the amulet! A priceless keepsake and proof of membership! It's almost sundown. Whistle for your faithful and clever horse, the only one who knows your secret and can help you get to the hideout before they do. Go there, take the amulet and blow it all up, or the cops will get you. A life in prison is not what you want.
